New Lessons: Substance Painter Launch Pad
A lot has happened in the world of Substance Painter since the release of our Substance Painter Launch Pad course.
This latest update is focused on two of the most apparent changes:
- The new Export Textures dialogue, which is detailed in Chapter 9, Lesson 01
- The new Automatic UV option combined with advanced Tesselation and Mesh export, that now allows you to export your tessellated result out of Painter. You will discover this function in the special lesson 05 from Chapter 10, where you will see how to use a filter called CARVE to actually sculpt in 3D directly in Painter.

Welcome to the 15th CG Boost Challenge with the topic “Steampunk Gear”!
The topic for this challenge is “Steampunk Gear”.
Steampunk gear – Steampunk – the world of airships, steam-driven vehicles and fancy 19th century fashion. But to be honest – it would be just half the fun, weren’t it not for the crazy gadgets and devices! A whole lot of cogwheels, exhausts and centrifugal governors make for the most epic and fancy of gears!
