We added 2 new lessons to chapter 15 "Weather Effects" for the Master 3D Environments in Blender course.
In these 2 new lessons you will learn how to create a simple yet good-looking snow particle simulation, render it and composite it into your shots.
This is an extended version of the Weather Effects in Blender EEVEE YouTube video we released a few days ago.
Here are the NEW lessons of chapter 15:
Chapter 8 "Highlands" for the Master 3D Environments in Blender course is now finished, including the compositing breakdown.
The "Highlands" chapter features a very common approach to making your environments - taking pre-made displacement and texture maps, and using them to displace your geometry in Blender. No external tools needed, you can follow along with the files attached to the lessons. Works fine with EEVEE too!
In the new lesson 07, we will bring our rendered elements together using Blender's compositor. You will also learn how to mask layers using the Depth pass, a pretty handy skill for all compositing needs.
Watch the final new lesson here: 8.7 - Compositing the Highlands
Today we added 2 NEWlessons to the Master 3D Sculpting in Blender course, chapter 3 "Base Meshes". Learn two experimental ways on creating base meshes in Blender using Metaballs and Grease Pencil.
We added 3 newlessons to the Master 3D Sculpting in Blender course, chapter 2 "Sculpting Fundamentals":

In lesson 05, we will add the elements we keep using throughout the course - background sky plane, 2D and 3D clouds, and some particle trees and bushes. Along the way, you'll learn a lot about Weight Painting:
